This electronics kit is an excellent project for the Boy Scouts Electronics Merit Badge. The kit consists of an Atmel microcontroller, which implements several modes of flashing-LED sequences. Modes can be selected by pressing the MODE button, and the sequence can be restarted by pressing the START button. This is an upgraded version of the kit used at the National Scout Jamboree in 2001 and 2005. Included with this kit is a PC board, programmed microcontroller, necessary LEDs and components to complete the building of the project. The kit requires 3 AA batteries to operate.
